How scheduling works:
I do not have traditional weekly session openings at this time. -I am transitioning away from that way of scheduling and moving into a system where clients self-schedule using an online scheduler. I am finding that this works better for the majority of my clients. The down-side to this is that clients might not get the same day/time each week.
If you want to get an idea of my openings, you are welcome to look at the scheduling link below. Please do not schedule anything using this link until after we have done a consultation and the intake paperwork has been filled out. I am posting this here just so that you have an idea of what kinds of openings I have.
If you are not a current client (all consent forms signed and intake paperwork filled out) and you use this link to schedule, your request will be declined by the system.
FAQ’s:
Do you take insurance?
At this time I can bill:
First Choice
Regence
Kaiser
You need to verify that your PLAN is covered by my contract with the above insurance companies.
I do not bill other insurances however, I can provide you with a superbill (detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
I encourage you to contact your insurance provider and ask the following specific questions:
What are my Out-of-Network Mental Health Benefits when seeing a Licensed Mental Health Counselor?
Do I have a deductible, coinsurance, or copayment?
Have I met my deductible this year?
Please note: Unless I am billing one of the insurance companies listed above, you are responsible for paying the full session fee at the time of your appointment. Cash, check and credit card are accepted.
Session Rates:
EMDR $175/session
Sex Therapy $200/session (not usually billable or reimbursable by insurance)
Do you do online or in person sessions?
I do both. However, in-person sessions are based on a space-available basis.
EMDR is able to be done online (and is sometimes better online!)
Do you do evening or weekend appointments?
My evening spots are almost always full. I do work weekends and sometimes have openings on the weekend.
